Interactive Media Designer

Mopi16 is seeking contract interactive media designers to create game-based learning solutions. Ideal candidates will have experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS and be able to take text-based storyboards and transform them into interactive game-based designs. The candidate should be:

  • naturally creative and imaginative
  • detailed
  • able to produce responsive and accessible solutions
  • organized and self-motivated
  • interested in the future of interactive media, design, technology and learning.

This is a contract position and will be paid on an hourly basis for 10-20 hours a week. The position may be virtual.

HTML/CSS Editor

Mopi16 is seeking contract HTML/CSS editors to build instructional pages in HTML and to incorporate them into learning management systems, such as D2L and Blackboard. The ideal candidate will have experience building pages in HTML and CSS and will be capable of building and linking HTML course pages based on an existing template and content residing in dozens of Google Docs. The candidate should be:

  • able to trouble-shoot errors in HTML code
  • detailed
  • organized in creating many HTML pages with few content errors

This is a contract position and will be paid on an hourly basis for 10-20 hours a week. The position may be virtual.

Mopi16 is seeking subject matter experts (SME) to write the following courses in both online and blended formats:

  1. Math Content for Teachers II (Feb start)
  2. Art Appreciation (Feb start)
  3. English Comp 2 (Feb start)
  4. Macroeconomics
  5. Leadership in the Workplace
  6. Intro to Sociology
  7. Accounting
  8. Information Systems Concepts
  9. Children's Literature/Literacy Environment
  10. Education Psychology
  11. Basic Statistics
  12. Think Global - Perspectives from the Field
  13. Logic and Ethics
  14. Managerial Accounting
  15. Intro to Technology in the Classroom
  16. History and Philosophy of Education
  17. Foundations of Bilingual and Second Language Learners
  18. Introduction to Special Education and Methods of Teaching

You need to have at least a Masters degree but a doctorate is preferred. SMEs must have taught online and have previous online curriculum writing experience. They will work with the Mopi16 through the backwards design process to develop the curriculum.
